On June 14, the awarding ceremony of Artsakh students who won first-class diplomas in the final stage of the subject Olympiads of the 2020-202 school year, held in Armenia, took place at the residence of the President of the Artsakh Republic.
President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Arayik Harutyunyan congratulated the participants on the success of the Olympiads, awarded the students with laptops, and their teachers - with cash prizes.
“Although the autumn war of 2020 has severely disrupted the educational process and created many obstacles for our students, they managed to show high results once again. Quality education and the educated and patriotic generation is a strong guarantee of the development of our country and the well-being of the people. The government will do everything possible to improve the quality of education and to implement reforms in the system,” Arayik Harutyunyan said in his speech.
The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Artsakh Lusine Gharakhanyan was present at the awarding ceremony.
