Ahead of NATO summit in Brussels today, French President Emmanuel Macron had a detailed conversation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
“Moving forward clearly, with respect and precision,” the French president said on Twitter.
Ahead of the meeting, Macron said he intended to discuss with Erdogan the rules of conduct for NATO allies, as well as the situation in Syria, Libya and Nagorno-Karabakh.
Macron also called on NATO to clarify its position on Russia.
