Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the scandalous words of his American colleague Joe Biden about him did not make him worry.
“I have always acted in the interests of the Russian people and the Russian state. And various labels are not something that I worry about in the slightest degree,” - this is how he answered the question of the journalist of the TV channel NBC about how he relates to the statement of Biden, who called him a ‘killer’.
“Over my tenure, I've gotten used to attacks from all kinds of angles and from all kinds of areas under all kinds of pretext and reasons and of different caliber and fierceness, and none of it surprises me,” Putin added.
In an interview with a foreign television channel, Putin compared the current US leader with the previous head of the White House, Donald Trump. As for Biden, Putin said the current White House occupant "is radically different from Trump because President Biden is a career man. He has spent virtually his entire adulthood in politics."
"That's a different kind of person, and it is my great hope that, yes, there are some advantages, some disadvantages, but there will not be any impulse-based movements on behalf of the sitting U.S. president," he said.
