Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov stated that there are no major incidents in Nagorno-Karabakh where Russian peacekeepers are deployed, and some irregularities are quickly eliminated. He said that there is tension in some parts of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, but it has nothing to do with Nagorno-Karabakh.
According to Lavrov, the statements of the neighboring countries are often conditioned by emotions.
“We call on all those involved in this situation to contribute to the establishment of a normal life. The work of the trilateral working group on unblocking regional communications is also dedicated to this issue, the effectiveness of the work of this working group will be determined by the extent to which unblocking will help people improve their lives.
The interests of both Turkey and Iran are taken into account in the trilateral discussions, otherwise all the unblocking will not be effective,” Lavrov said.
