The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is under special attention, says the organization’s secretary general Stanislav Zas.
“The situation on the ground is gradually stabilizing. The important thing is that people are not firing in Nagorno-Karabakh,” Zas said at the OSCE forum, Interfax reports.
The CSTO Secretary General stated that the situation in the border regions of Syunik province of Armenia is also in the center of special attention.
“We welcome the intention of the parties to resolve border issues peacefully. There we see the prospect of a lasting peace. At the same time, the risks of aggravation of the situation remain,” Zas said.
