Please be informed that the recent information spread on social media about the demolition of the parking lot fence in the Armenian district of Jerusalem does not correspond to reality. The Chancellor of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem Hovnan Baghdasaryan wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“After the examination carried out by the specialists of the architectural department of the Jerusalem Municipality, the fence was considered as emergency. The results of the research were submitted in a written form to the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
The Municipality of Jerusalem and the Armenian Patriarchate agreed to demolish the emergency fence and to build a new fence on the same site within 45 days.
Below we place the future appearance of the fence,” Hovnan Baghdasaryan wrote, attaching the photo.
