Turkey has not informed Russia about the revision or adjustment of agreements on military-technical cooperation under US pressure, Dmitry Shugayev, head of Russia’s Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, told INTERFAX.
He stressed that Russian-Turkish military-technical cooperation is developing proportionally. “We have a specific work plan. No one doubts that anything will happen and something will not be implemented.”
According to the official, there are currently ‘enough’ specialists in Turkey under the S-400 contract.
“Their removal from Turkey is not discussed. Our specialists will return home according to the schedule. Everything is happening in accordance with the contractual obligations,” Shugayev said.
Earlier, the media reported that Turkey would send home specialists from Russia who service the S-400 systems.
Spokesman for the Russian President Dmitry Peskov assured that “Russian specialists are returning from Turkey according to plan, it is not correct to talk about their deportation.”
