Today, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan spread another disinformation, trying to accuse the Armenian side of violating the border, fixing the place of the alleged incident.
“On June 1, the Armenian Armed Forces, consisting of about 40 people, entered the territory of Azerbaijan 400 meters from the village of Armudlu in the Kelbajar region of Azerbaijan, and they occupied positions in the area with geographical coordinates - 40 degrees north latitude 4 minutes 30 seconds, 45 degrees east longitude 54 minutes 42 seconds (N 40 ° "04 '30", E 45 ° 54'42 "),” the statement reads.
Taron Hovhannisyan, an expert at the Orbeli Analytical Center, posted photos on his Facebook page, proving that the accusation against Armenia was false.
“The Azerbaijani side again made false accusations towards Armenia and published false coordinates. Azerbaijani MO today tried to accuse the Armenian side of violating its border, while indicating the place of the alleged incident.
In the image of the general plan, the Red Dot noted fake coordinates of the Azerbaijan Ministry. In fact, Azerbaijani positions in this direction are deep in the territory of the Republic of Armenia. Above are the photos of these positions and their geolocation,” Hovhannisyan stated.
