During the meeting with the Armenian community of France at the Embassy of Armenia, caretaker Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan presented details from his June 1 meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.
The Acting Prime Minister first had a separate meeting with the Co-Chair of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France Ara Toranyan and member of the Board of Trustees, Chairman of the French local body Petros Terzian.
During the meeting with the representatives of the French-Armenian community, Nikol Pashinyan referred to the results of the talks with President Emanuel Macron, the circumstances of the 44-day Artsakh war, the steps taken to resolve the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. He also talked about the opportunities of recovering the negotiation process of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement within the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairing and the full realization of Diaspora’s potential. In connection with the latter, Nikol Pashinyan highly assessed the unity of the Diaspora Armenians, especially during the war, the invaluable support rendered to the Homeland.
The Acting Prime Minister answered in detail all the questions the French-Armenians were interested in.
Nikol Pashinyan’s working visit to the Republic of France is over. The Armenian delegation has arrived in Brussels, where on June 2 he will meet with the President of the European Council Charles Michel. The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia is also scheduled to meet with the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Belgium Alexander De Croo.
