There is no occasion, no meeting, and no opportunity where the issue of the return of prisoners is not discussed or will not be discussed. And I hope this issue will be resolved, said the Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan at a briefing with journalists.
The Acting Deputy Prime Minister also referred to the work of the trilateral working group on the issue of unblocking the roads. According to Grigoryan, those works do not continue as of today.
“I have stated many times these works will be effective, will give results in one case: when the background, the general situation is at least stable. In this situation, in these situations on the border, I do not think that constructive work is possible on that platform. In that sense, the contacts on that platform have been cut off recently. Let us see what will happen next,” Grigoryan said. He assured that the Armenian side has not discussed, and will not discuss issues of corridor logic.
“If some people saying ‘corridor’, mean transport routes, it is one question. But if by saying ‘corridor’ they mean any circumstance related to sovereignty, I assure you again, it is excluded from the agenda of my discussions,” he stressed.
