Wendy Morton, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for European Neighborhood and the Americas referred to the tension on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on her Twitter.
“Deeply concerned by ongoing tensions along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. The UK urges both sides to remove troops immediately, avoid escalatory actions and the laying of new mines, and engage in constructive negotiations on the demarcation of the border without preconditions,” the statement reads.
