Today is June 1, International Children’s Day. The day was established in 1925 during the World Conference on the Protection of Children in Geneva. In 1949, the International Women’s Alliance for Democracy has decided to hold a Children’s Day. The holiday was first celebrated in 1950.
Armenia ratified the Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1990, and in 1996, Armenia adopted a law ‘On the Rights of a Child’.
Many events will be held on June 1 this year. Interesting, colorful, interactive, educational and musical events will ensure children’s June 1 holiday.
