The Biden Administration has proposed just $25 million in aid to Armenia - less than a quarter of the $100 million + in emergency humanitarian aid requested by the bipartisan Congressional Armenian Caucus, Armenian National Committee of America’s (ANCA) Facebook page reports.
The U.S. has shipped over $120 million in military aid to oil-rich Azerbaijan, but the White House is proposing only a fraction of this amount for the 100,000+ at-risk Armenian families displaced by the Azerbaijani military.
“We demand that Congress reject the White House proposal and appropriate robust U.S. aid to Armenia and Artsakh,” the statement reads.
