Baku has approved Moscow’s proposal to set up a trilateral commission on demarcation and delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. The Azerbaijani side is ready for constructive work with Yerevan, Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov said, RIA Novosti reports.
He made an official speech at the session of CIS countries’ government heads in Minsk.
“Azerbaijan has started the process of determining its border infrastructure and is ready to resolve the issue of borders with Armenia in a constructive manner. In this regard, Azerbaijan approved the proposal of the Russian side to establish a trilateral commission on demarcation and delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. Determining boundaries is a technical process that must be based on a serious international legal basis,” Asadov stated.
