Adviser to Armenia’s Prosecutor General Gor Abrahamyan informed on his Facebook page that, the Military Prosecutor’s Office of the Sevan garrison, with the characteristics of the crimes envisaged under 2nd part of the Article 329, and the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th points of the 2nd part of the 131 Article of Armenia’s Criminal Code, initiated a criminal case on the Azerbaijani Armed Forces illegally crossing Armenia’s state border in the administrative territory of Vardenis community of Gegharkunik province in the part of Kut village, and on May 27, 2021 blockading six servicemen of Armenia’s Armed Forces carrying out engineering works in the territory of the Republic of Armenia, on the occasion of their arrest or transfer to the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the use of weapons, violence dangerous to life or health.
The preliminary investigation of the criminal case was assigned to the 5-th garrison investigative division of Armenia’s Penitentiary.
