The Azerbaijani armed forces invaded not only the sovereign territory of Armenia, but also entered the sovereign territory of the CSTO. We have a situation where there is no choice but to immediately seek the help of the United Nations Security Council to find a solution to this situation and find other ways. Parliamentarian Arman Babajanyan said about this at the National Assembly, stating that it is a step, which has no alternative.
“Obviously, the target is the snap elections in Armenia, to create chaos in Armenia, in that situation, to get as many concessions as possible from Armenia. This is definitely not just a joint decision of Turkey and Azerbaijan. Obviously we see other interested countries in this direction,” Babajanyan said.
According to the deputy, the attack in the direction of Shorzha took place yesterday after the Iranian delegation arrived in Armenia. He said that all this is happening in the context of global realities, when very strong agreements are being reached between the United States and Iran on the lifting of sanctions.
