After the aggravation of the border situation, I stated at the meetings of the Security Council and the Government that in the modern world, conflicts and military confrontations have a mandatory component, that is, the information struggle. Nikol Pashinyan said this during a question-answer session between the National Assembly and the Government, reiterating that Azerbaijan has agents of information struggle in Armenia.
“Today a reference was given to me. There are clashes at the border, unfortunately, until there are fights, removal from the positions, return. I did not know that I had to publish the content of that reference. I hope the reference accurately reflects the reality.
The content was as follows: The users belonging to the opposition circles known to you widely disseminated the videos of the border incidents, which were spread by the Azerbaijani circles. There were also videos where the representatives of the Armenian Armed Forces repulsed the Azerbaijani servicemen with non-firearms, and the same circles did not distribute those videos, they boycotted them.
These people used to say during the events, known to you, that we are with the army. How is it that you spread the videos that seem to discredit our army with great pleasure, and that we have soldiers, officers, volunteers standing on the border like a rock, you do not spread the videos covering their heroic service? This means that Azerbaijani information agents are operating in Armenia,” Pashinyan said.
