The Union of Armenians of Ukraine is concerned about the preservation of the historical and cultural heritage of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). The organization sent a letter to UNESCO on the issue.
“Every time we send a letter, we hardly get results. Maybe it would be right to visit Europe with a group and try to get answers there, but in the conditions of this pandemic it is difficult to organize,” says David Mkrtchyan, Vice President of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine.
The Organization for Protection of Caucasus Heritage yesterday registered another case of vandalism of the Armenian historical and cultural heritage by Azerbaijan in Shushi and appealed to UNESCO, calling on the organization to assess the extent of the damage.
