The servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh delivered humanitarian aid provided by Russian public organizations and charitable foundations to the remote settlements Khanadzakh and Ptretsik of the Askeran region of Nagorno-Karabakh.
During the humanitarian action, Russian peacekeepers handed over essential items, clothing, hygiene items and toys for children to the residents of these settlements on behalf of the charitable organizations Russian Humanitarian Mission, Doctor Lisa and Hurry to the Good.
"Every humanitarian action requires preparation. On the eve of the humanitarian action, the officers of the Humanitarian Response Center call the heads of localities to clarify the number of large families and families of internally displaced persons," said Vladislav Vyshegorodtsev, an officer of the Humanitarian Response Center of the Russian peacekeeping contingent.
In total, through charitable organizations, Russian peacekeepers handed over more than 150 tons of humanitarian supplies to the residents of Nagorno-Karabakh, including, in addition to food and basic necessities, specialized medical equipment and primary diagnostic kits for healthcare institutions.
