Mane Tandilyan, Minister of Labor, Social and Resettlement Affairs of the Artsakh Republic (Nagorno-Karabakh), wrote on her Facebook page that they are initiating the creation of the ‘Living Artsakh’ foundation.
“After the Artsakh war, the commitment to take care of Artsakh must become one of the most important missions of all Armenians to revitalize Artsakh. The tragic consequences of the war, the human losses are irreparable, but we must save Artsakh for the memory of the Armenians who sacrificed their lives.
Everyone talks about Artsakh and the Artsakh people, sometimes they come to Artsakh to be photographed, while in the eternal debate between the past and the present we lose the future, turning it again into a circle of destructive confrontation between the present and the past.
Without a living Artsakh, living Artsakh people, political texts have no value. Moreover, in order to revive Artsakh, one should dedicate oneself, not a position or status. We, together with many devoted patriots, tried to realize our care for Artsakh immediately after the beginning of the war, using individual efforts as a common goal to guarantee the rapid revival and revitalization of Artsakh.
Artsakh lives today, it lives in spite of many. The people of Artsakh live with the expectation of an efficient education for their children, the desire for a better job, the dream of having a stronger Artsakh. We stand by those goals and dreams, regardless of our present and future status.
We are initiating the creation of the ‘Living Artsakh’ Foundation, the sole purpose of which will be the effective implementation of economic development, educational, health and social programs in Artsakh for the sake of Living Artsakh.
We believe that many devotees will join our initiative, making Artsakh a small but important part of their lives. We will provide more detailed information about the initiative in the near future,” Tandilyan wrote.
