Twitter has deleted the threatening post of independent Turkish MP Ümit Özdağ addressed to Armenian MP Garo Paylan after numerous complaints, Ermenihaber reports.
Özdağ targeted Paylan, member of the pro-Kurdish People’s Democratic Party, over Paylan’s tweet on the occasion of the 106-th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Özdağ threatened the parliamentarian with Armenian decent with the genocide of Talaat Pasha.
Paylan filed a lawsuit against national activist Özdağ, accusing him of ‘inciting a crime’, ‘sowing enmity among the people’, ‘insulting or threatening’. Ümit Özdağ was also charged by the Turkish Human Rights Union.
