The servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh held an educational campaign Friendship of peoples without borders in the secondary school of the village of Aterk in the Mardakert district of Nagorno-Karabakh.
More than 100 middle and high school students took part in this action, which took place in the form of an interactive lesson. At the beginning of the lecture, the servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent told the students about the diversity and peculiarities of the national cultures of the Russian Federation. In turn, the students of the school devoted their reports to the issues of national cultural values of the peoples living in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. In addition, the children and Russian peacekeepers exchanged views on the need to maintain peace on planet Earth.
The brightest and most memorable moments were the participation of schoolchildren and Russian servicemen in the artistic depiction of the symbols of peace. Colorful drawings created by children and Russian officers became a real decoration of the creative meeting.
“Our students are always happy when we tell them that we will have guests. Both teachers and students – we are always happy. To be honest, you peacemakers are our shield, our protection. If you are here, it means that we are protected,” said Nona Verdyan, head of the educational process of the secondary school in the village of Aterk.
At the end of the event, the dance team of the secondary school of the village of Aterk demonstrated their talents by presenting to their classmates and Russian peacekeepers the dance Kochari, performed in national costumes.
