On May 13, Acting Foreign Minister of Armenia Ara Aivazian had a telephone conversation with Acting Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, Philip Reeker.
The conversation was focused on the regional security and stability. Ayvazian presented detailed information to his interlocutor about the provocations by the Azerbaijani armed units in the sovereign territory of Armenia and the situation after them.
The Acting Foreign Minister of Armenia emphasized the inadmissibility of the Azerbaijani provocations against the territorial integrity of Armenia.
Ayvazian stated that international tolerance towards the encroachment on Armenian sovereignty is fraught with the threat of destabilization of the region.
