On May 13, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ara Aivazian had a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis.
Acting Minister Aivazian presented in detail to his counterpart the situation created by the Azerbaijani armed forces in the wake of provocations on the Armenian state border, considering inadmissible the attempts to encroach on the territory of the sovereign state of Armenia in violation of international law.
The interlocutors stressed the need to neutralize threats to regional stability and peace.
