UN Secretary-General António Guterres has warned of the possibility of a mutation in the vaccine-resistant coronavirus if it spreads in poor countries, RIA Novosti reports.
“I am very concerned about the current situation. Some countries are rapidly vaccinating their populations. However, there are a number of countries, which have not received any dose of vaccine. And in developing countries we see significant gaps in vaccination,” Guterres said.
