“Can you imagine the state budget revenues in a country to increase by 43% within a year, in case of reduction of tax rates and tax burden?”
Everyone has forgotten that there were monopolies in Armenia, that there were people who had the right to import something specific, and the others did not have the right, said the Acting Prime Minister.
“There is no such topic. Has anyone heard that after 2018, anyone has a monopoly on importing or exporting something? There can be no such thing.”
In terms of tax collection, there are many things that have happened for the first time in the history of the Third Republic. Even in this post-war and crisis period, we have set an absolute record for one month of tax collection.
“During the whole existence of the Third Republic, there has not been a month to ensure AMD 180 billion (over 346 million) of tax revenue per month. I would like to remind you that in 2019 we registered the largest economic growth in Armenia for the last 10 years, which was the highest economic growth in the entire European region,” Pashinyan said.
