On May 9, Arayik Harutyunyan, President of the Artsakh Republic (Nagorno-Karabakh) in Kichan community, Martakert region, participated in the consecration ceremony of the khachkar (cross-stone) erected in memory of the freedom fighter Armen Baghdasaryan who died during the war in 2020.
The President presented the relatives of the victim with the Combat Cross Order of the 1st degree, which was posthumously awarded to the operator of the ‘Cornet’ anti-tank complex Armen Baghdasaryan for his courage and accurate hitting. Harutyunyan stressed in his speech that through our hard work we must continue the struggle of the dead young men to achieve our national goals.
