Since May 3, various media outlets have published information on the destruction of cemeteries in the villages of Taghavard and Mets Tagher of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
Considering that the above-mentioned publications contain relevant information under Article 276, Part 2, Clause 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Artsakh (Destroying, damaging or desecrating buildings or objects on graves intended for burial of the dead or rituals in their memory, committed on the grounds of national, racial or religious hatred or hostility) on acts containing features of an intended crime, on May 7 the media outlets were sent to the Police of the Republic of Artsakh for consideration in accordance with the procedure established by the criminal procedure legislation. The Prosecutor’s Office of Artsakh reported about it.
