Information is spread on the Internet that the Azerbaijani side allegedly tried to occupy Armenian positions in Tavush province, Armenia. In the post, the user even mentioned that the Azerbaijanis “prepared artillery” to use if necessary.
The Ministry of Defense of Armenia informed the Information Checking Center that the news did not correspond to reality.
“The border situation is under control, and no incident has been registered,” the Armenia’s Defense Ministry stated.
