“Recently, information has been spread on social networks, various news sites and telegram channels, according to which the President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian allegedly pursues political goals, sponsors various forces, as well as calls to boycott the elections.
In connection with the rumors, the Public Relations Department of the Office of the President of the Republic of Armenia announces that all this information is false, does not correspond to reality.

It has been repeatedly stated that the President of the Republic of Armenia is guided by state and national interests.
The President, exercising his functions exclusively within the framework of the powers vested in him by the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, cannot engage, does not engage, does not intend to engage in politics, is not a member of any party, has not represented, and does not represent any political force.
“The President of the Republic does not support, is not going to support or assist any political force,” the statement reads.
