Today, the RA Government approved the proposal to sign a letter-agreement on a grant for ‘Armenia’s support to conflict-affected families’ from the funds of State and Peacebuilding Fund between Armenia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
“Within the framework of the road map published by the Prime Minister in November last year, we have implemented social assistance programs for our displaced and suffered compatriots. The number of these events in total is currently about 25 events of a purely social nature. All events are also discussed with international partners. The World Bank expressed readiness to become a free co-financier of four anti-crisis measures of those 25 events. The World Bank is ready to provide a grant of AMD 3 million 718 thousand ($7,150) to the Government of Armenia, as an impetus for the implementation of those events and a desire to co-finance them,” stated RA Acting Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.
