Artak Beglaryan, Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) made a post on his Facebook page, which we present below:
“A strong and useful conference entitled ‘Partnership for Artsakh’ was organized at Dilijan International School by the ‘Aurora’ humanitarian initiative with the support of the Government of Artsakh.
I presented the humanitarian consequences and damages of the 44-day war, the programs implemented and planned by the government, as well as the basic principles of foreign assistance.
During the event, four workshops were organized, where members of the Government of the Republic of Artsakh, representatives of dozens of partner Armenian organizations and leading experts from around the world discussed the problems in the health, education, culture, economic and social spheres of Artsakh, medium-term and long-term needs. Besides, they outlined the directions of further programs aimed at their solution, in accordance with the priorities and capacities.
The six ministers participating in the conference made separate speeches in sectoral workshops, discussing with representatives of partner organizations and experts the possibilities of joint programs aimed at the restoration and development of Artsakh.
My thanks to the ‘Aurora’ Humanitarian Initiative and all participating organizations and individuals for valuable discussions. I am sure that the results will soon be visible to the people of Artsakh.”
