In Boston, High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan visited the Armenian Museum of America, which is known for its unique exhibits and rich heritage. Accompanied by the Executive Director of the museum, Jason Sohigian, and the Director of Finance, Berj Chekijian, the Commissioner got acquainted with the museum's exhibits, history and chronology, as well as learned about the upcoming programs.
Both parties agreed to cooperate in the direction of strengthening cultural ties with the Diaspora and Armenia, especially in the context of publicizing the endangered heritage of Artsakh. At the end of his visit, the High Commissioner made an entry in the museum's Book of Remembrance, in which he characterized the museum as being a beacon not only for the Armenian community of America, but also for Boston. He thanked the staff for preserving and disseminating Armenian culture in America.
