Acting Prime Minister, candidate for Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a special session of the Parliament that he and his wife had been vaccinated against coronavirus today.
“I want to call on everyone to be vaccinated by all means, moreover, I also ask the NA deputies to be vaccinated, and to cover the fact of their being vaccinated. Because now there is a very wide discussion in the world, and there is a high probability that from the second half of 2021 the travel restrictions of citizens not vaccinated against coronavirus may be introduced,” Pashinyan said.
The Acting Prime Minister reminded that there is a large stock of vaccines in Armenia and they have the opportunity to start large-scale vaccinations.
“I want to draw the attention of all of us to the fact that we are now in a declining numbers phase. If we organize the vaccination properly, we will be able to overcome the pandemic quickly. A very important criterion for international travel companies is the level of vaccination in that country.
Now you can see tourists in different parts of Armenia, if we organize the vaccination cycle correctly, we can return the volumes of 2019. And it is very important that hotels, catering establishments, service companies organize the process of vaccinating their employees,” Pashinyan said.
He urged not to speculate on vaccinations.
