A total of 702 calls were registered at the Crisis Management Center of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) State Emergency Service on April 26-May 02, 2021.
Compared to the previous week, the number of calls about fire were decreased. Within a week, five calls were registered about the fire, four of which broke out in Stepanakert and one in Askeran.
The main reason for the fires is the carelessness of the citizens.
During seven days, nine calls were registered about the traffic accident in 911 alarm center. Two citizens were injured in the accident. The rescuers provided first aid to the latter and took them to the Republican Medical Center.
Calls for weapons finding have also decreased. Of the 29 calls received, 15 were about the detection of life-threatening ammunition. The sappers of the State Service of Emergency Situations of Artsakh, the partners of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, the Humanitarian Demining Center Foundation and the non-governmental demining organization ‘The Halo Trust’ continue to carry out reconnaissance and demining works in Artsakh.
During the week, 64 explosives, 6 anti-tank mines, 173 anti-tank missiles, 2 aviation bombs, 66 artillery shells, 560 small caliber ammunition, 15 hand grenades and 3 grenade launchers were found, destroyed or stored.
The heavy hail and rain on April 29 created a state of emergency and some inconvenience for a large family at 1/1 M. Arzanyan Street in Stepanakert. The rainwater completely flooded the house. The rescuers carried out drainage work by hand and provided assistance to the family members.
Forty domestic calls were registered. Drinking water was supplied to residents of 3 villages in Askeran region during the week. The rescuers made 9 openings of elevator and 7 - of the door.
During the mentioned period, the rescuers of the special unit of the rapid reaction department of the rescue forces made one way out to search for the bodies of the killed servicemen and civilians in the settlements under the control of Azerbaijan.
A total of 1552 bodies have been found and evacuated since the ceasefire.
