Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin conveyed the greetings of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, stating that Russia highly appreciates the relations with fraternal Armenia, which are of long-standing allied and strategic nature, RIA Novosti reports.
“First of all, I would like to convey the warm greetings and best wishes of Russian President Vladimir Putin,” said the Russian Prime Minister during a meeting with Nikol Pashinyan.
He stressed that Moscow highly appreciates the fraternal relations with Yerevan. He noted that they are of long-standing allied and strategic nature.
The Russian Prime Minister noted that the statement adopted by the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan after the end of battles in Nagorno-Karabakh has created wide opportunities for joint work.
“First of all, they are unblocking all economic and transport connections and creating new infrastructural routes. All this will create conditions for the sustainable development of the Transcaucasian region,” Mishustin said.
