If we do not record a very tangible result in terms of coronavirus spread over the next month, our tourism business may have big problems this year, said Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at today’s Government session, emphasizing that it is important to subdue the voices that start a campaign against vaccines.
“Mr. Kerobyan, we need to involve the business so that this process is carried out properly. Mr. Harutyunyan, I think that the vaccination process should be carried out in the Armed Forces as well, and in state bodies in general. We must take that priority so that everyone can see that we are vaccinated and continue to live,” Pashinyan said.
Acting Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan noted that contacts with international partners have shown that leading countries are going to introduce new rules on world travel. And people who do not have a green passport, i.e. are not vaccinated, will not be able to travel freely.
“All employers who are concerned about these restrictions should be interested in increasing the number of vaccinated employees as soon as possible so that we can remove these restrictions, as well as all restrictions on entry and exit from the country,” Kerobyan said.
Referring to the travel restrictions for unvaccinated citizens, Pashinyan said that it is very important that we have digitized information about vaccinated citizens from today.
“We have to find all the vaccinated citizens within seconds, maybe we need to stamp something in the passport. Maybe some stamp needs to be issued,” Pashinyan said.
