On April 26, the Permanent Representative of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) to the Republic of Armenia Sergey Ghazaryan hosted Baroness Caroline Cox. The Baroness spoke about the need for the international community to take steps to raise the issue of Azerbaijan’s illegal behavior during the war on various international platforms, as well as to record the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh as a result of the severe war.
In his speech, Sergey Ghazaryan referred to the existing problems in post-war Artsakh and the severe consequences of the war, emphasizing that at the present stage, in addition to humanitarian missions, the process of restoring normal life in Artsakh is much more important.
The representative of Artsakh also informed the Baroness that two Ford cars intended for transporting the disabled donated by our compatriots in Germany to the Stepanakert Rehabilitation Center after Caroline Cox will be in Artsakh in the coming days.
At the end of the meeting, the Baroness handed over to the representative of Artsakh the work ‘Turkish-Azerbaijani crimes against Armenians in Nagorno- Karabakh’, based on the fact-finding mission carried out by her during the 44-day war, which is the continuation of her work called ‘Ethnic cleansing continues: war in Nagorno-Karabakh’, published in 1993.
