A total of 1,007 calls were registered at the Crisis Management Center of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) State Emergency Service on April 19-25, 2021. Compared to the previous week, the number of calls increased by three.
Calls for weapons are still high on the agenda. During the week, 33 calls were received from citizens, mainly from Martuni and Martakert regions. The sappers transported explosives and other weapons found in the settlements, near the land plots to a safe place.
Last week, sappers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, together with partners of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as the Humanitarian Demining Center of The Halo Trust demining organization, found 113 rocket-propelled grenades, 1aviation bomb, 31 artillery shells, 5 artillery shells, 5 explosives, one anti-tank mine and one anti-aircraft missile, 7 hand grenades. A 60-hectare demined agricultural area was received in Martakert.
Seven calls were registered about the fire, one of which broke out in a residential building, the others in dry grass areas and garbage dumps. The fire rescuers of the Rescue Forces Department isolated the fire. No one was hurt. One alarm about the fire was false.
On April 20, strong winds caused problems in Stepanakert. Two calls were registered. Sheets were torn from the roof of a residential house and a garage and hung. Rescuers arrived at the scene in time to prevent the impending danger.
One emergency case was registered in Lisagor village of Shushi region. A dog attacked a resident. The rescuers of Lisagor precinct took the citizen to a medical institution after providing first aid. The situation is stable.
During 7 days, 38 calls of domestic nature were registered in the 911 alarm center, 5 of which were for the elevator, 6 for opening the door. Rescuers provided technical assistance to everyone. Drinking water was supplied to the residents of 3 communities of Askeran region.
During the last week, the rescue squads of the special unit of the Rapid Reaction Service made four exits to search for the bodies of the killed servicemen and evacuate them from the territories under the control of Azerbaijan.
A total of 1551 bodies were found after the ceasefire.
