Former President of the Czech Republic, prominent politician Vaclav Klaus received RA Ambassador to the Czech Republic Ashot Hovakimyan.
According to the embassy, the interlocutors discussed the latest regional and geopolitical developments, touched upon the process of Armenia’s economic development and transformation, and the country’s foreign policy challenges.
The RA Ambassador provided detailed information on the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war, the subsequent humanitarian challenges, especially the issue of Armenian prisoners of war (POWs), as well as Azerbaijan’s threats and anti-Armenian policy.
