Vladimir Vardanyan, member of the Armenian delegation to PACE, addressed two questions to the German State Minister for EU Affairs Michael Roth, noting that the latter referred to the implementation of the rulings of the European Court of Human Rights, and that he would not tolerate non-fulfillment of those processes.
Vardanyan particularly stated.
“You perfectly know the situation with the Armenian POWs, and the European Court has already informed you about the fact that several interim measures indicated and that Azerbaijan is not cooperating with the European Court of Human Rights,” Vardanyan stated.
“During your other presidency will you have the same zero tolerance in the cases when interim measures are not respected?” the Armenian delegate to PACE asked.
The second question referred to the hate speech. Vardanyan wanted to know the Minister’s viewpoint about the hate speech against Armenians.
He stated that there are various insults against Armenians in Azerbaijan, at the highest level, mentioning the ‘park’ opened in Azerbaijan.
