As reported earlier, the issue of Armenian prisoners of war (POWs), other captives and displaced persons will be discussed at the PACE plenary session tomorrow.
Tatevik Hayrapetyan, member of ‘My Step’ parliamentary faction, member of the Armenian delegation to PACE, told ‘Lurer’ (News) that the head of the Azerbaijani delegation made a speech saying that it contradicted “their efforts for peace,” nevertheless, it has been approved and is included in the agenda.
“It is important for us that our European partners make speeches on these topics, emphasize that it is an exclusively humanitarian issue, it cannot be politicized,” she said.
The topic will be discussed tomorrow, in the second half of the day.
