California Deputy Governor Eleni Kounalakis released a video message urging US President Joe Biden to formally recognize the Armenian Genocide. She particularly said:
“I join all those who call on US President Joe Biden to formally recognize the Armenian Genocide. The US Congress and many states, including our state, California, have already recognized the Genocide. Now is the time for US President Joe Biden to recognize the Armenian Genocide. Please join me to sign the ‘Yes, it's genocide’ petition (YesItsGenocide.org). Together we can make our voices heard,” she said.
