Vladimir Vardanyan, Chairman of the Armenian Parliament's Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs, made a speech at the ‘Global Challenges and Threats in the Context of Covid-19 Pandemic. Terrorism and Violent Extremism’ International Conference.
Vardanyan described Azerbaijan’s attack on civilians and vital infrastructures in the Artsakh war, desecration of Armenian historical, cultural and religious heritage, including temples, churches and other religious and historical monuments in the territory of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), as violent extremism and terrorism at the state level.
He also referred to the so-called ‘Victory Park’ opened in Baku and dedicated to the Artsakh war, considering it a clear manifestation of Azerbaijan’s racist policy.
