Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Kremlin official website reports.
The two leaders discussed several important matters on the bilateral agenda and expressed mutual interest in further comprehensive strengthening of Russian-Belarusian allied relations.
In the context of Alexander Lukashenko’s recent visit to Azerbaijan, the topic of the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process was also touched upon.
The parties agreed to continue contacts at various levels.
