The United States and NATO are deploying troops from North America near the Russian border. The statement came from Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, RIA Novosti reports.
“The main forces are concentrated in the Black Sea and Baltic regions,” he said.
Sergei Shoigu added that, in total, 40,000 servicemen, 15,000 units of armaments and military equipment, including the strategic air force, will be deployed near Russia.
