No hostility has ever been preached in our country, stated Tatevik Hayrapetyan, member of ‘My Step’ parliamentary faction in Armenian Parliament, at a briefing with journalists. “As for the steps of the President of Azerbaijan, he once again showed the world that he is going to preach hatred at the state level,” she said, referring to the ‘park’ opened in Baku, where exhibits from the second Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war were displayed.
According to Hayrapetyan, Armenia has always said before the war that it is ready to settle the conflict peacefully, and has made enormous efforts in that direction. “Whereas Aliyev once again confessed yesterday that he was not preparing for peace, he was preparing for war. I find it difficult to say why we were not getting prepared more intensively to face the possible risks and to prevent military actions,” she said.
According to Hayrapetyan, Azerbaijan is now politicizing the issue of the prisoner return, which is unacceptable.
