On April 8, the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs approved a grant for a project submitted by the “Support to Wounded Soldiers and Soldiers with Disabilities” Armenian NGO.
The Foreign Minister of Belgium has made an exceptional decision to approve the project, developed with the support of the Armenian Embassy in Brussels. The grant was approved despite the fact that Armenia had not been part of the initial geographical priorities set for 2021 assistance programs.
The funds will be used by the Homeland Defender’s Rehabilitation Center to purchase equipment necessary for surgeries of the injured or the disabled persons of the Artsakh war, and is aimed at improving the quality of life of Armenian soldiers and their reintegration into society.
