Babken Tunyan, Chairman of the Armenian Parliament’s Standing Committee on Economic Affairs presented details of today’s decision of the country’s Central Bank.
“The Central Bank of Armenia has announced that the Central Bank of Armenia will carry out operations in the currency market of Armenia in order to ensure the normal operation of the financial markets of Armenia.
That means that the Central Bank will sell currency (dollars).
According to the press service of the Central Bank, the Central Bank of Armenia continues to monitor the financial markets and, if necessary, it will use all the tools in its toolkit to ensure prices and financial stability,” Tunyan said.
