At the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan thanked for the invitation to Moscow. Then the head of the Armenian government highlighted the presence of Russian peacekeepers in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
“Of course, first of all I want to state that the presence of Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh is becoming a key factor in stability and security in the region. In this respect, I hope today we will discuss your views on the security system in and around Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as in Armenia, and in our entire region,” Pashinyan said.
It is also planned to discuss with the Russian President the issue of Armenian prisoners of war (POWs) and detainees in Azerbaijan, which has not been settled yet.
